I am very lucky to have a friend like Morgan because she has a habit that benefits me greatly.... she is a shopper! I'm talkin' the good stuff like clothes and home decor. So when she does her thing at the store and brings home her goodies, she usually runs into a little problem.... where to put her new purchases???? That is where I come in. Being the good friend that I am, I lovingly take her "old" stuff so that she can make room for all the "new." Needless to say, I love this arrangement. I am no moocher, so just hush! My closet is filled to overflowing with such great hand-me-downs.
When I am having a "feeling cute and stylish" day, I usually take a pic of the outfit and post it on my instagram. Morgan happens to stumble across my pictures and comments "Why did I give you that shirt again?" lol My reply.... "No take-backs!" Just kidding! I would loan her the clothes off my back any day. They used to be hers, after all.
So here are a few pics of the outfits that I have been wearing. Some pieces are mine but mostly they are cute hand-me-downs that I put my own twist on. Enjoy!
Green Shirt From Morgan. Paired with Boyfriend cut jeans from AE and a navy blue cardigan... and of course UGGs. The little boy in the picture is my baby, Gavin. He is pretty stylin' himself, wearing a Target flannel, H&M dark skinny jeans, Yo Gabba Gabba Vans and his daddy's hat (that is wayyy too big.)
Banana Republic stripped sweater, with dark blue t-shirt from Target peeking under. Paired with my Favorite Boyfriend cut jeans and Uggs.
Old Navy plaid button-up with a cream sweater over it. Paired with a black mini and black tights. On my feet are my favorite brown mid-calf boots from Charlotte Russe. I wear those things with everything!
Same shirt as above, just with a denim jacket. Simple and cute!
Okay, it's kind of embarrassing that I'm wearing the same shirt in 3 pictures, but oh well. This time I layered it with my red dress from Forever21 that cost me a whopping $17. Can't beat that!
....and lastly, I have on my trusty black leggings from Old Navy, brown boots from Charlotte Russe, my favorite coat from H&M and brown infinity scrarf. Under my coat I am wearing a shirt, I just can't remember which one it is. Sorry =) On my head is the cowl that Morgan had posted about. After much begging, she knitted it for me. I wear it often, either as a cowl scarf or a hat (by putting a rubber band on one end.)
